Replacement Barometer Bezel

Recently, we had the pleasure of receiving a website enquiry from a customer who wanted a bevel replaced on a barometer. This item held real sentimental value to our customer who has had this in their possession since 1974.
Upon receiving a visit from our customer with barometer in hand, we established that the bezel had cracked and therefore was not snapping back into place. We then discussed the options available to either repair the bezel or replace the broken bezel and make a small tool.
However, thanks to some amateur detective work from our Works Manager Arek, he was able to successfully source a replacement part from a similar barometer, which was a perfect fit.
After contacting our customer with the good news, we were delighted to receive a visit from them to collect their barometer and enjoyed a lovely chat about this item and sharing with them what we do at Artec Engineering.
