On Tuesday 15th November, 2022 we were delighted to receive our latest addition to Artec Engineering.

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our DENN beading and flanging machine – RBV-160.

The significant investment in this precision metal spinning machine is due to them continual growth of the business and to increase our metal spinning capabilities.

Following its long journey from Barcelona, Spain, it was expertly unloaded and installed by Blackmores Machinery Haulage.

They made this process look effortless and we would only trust them to unload this valuable CNC spinning machine.

Why invest in this CNC?

This DENN bespoke metal spinning machine is built to our specification and is configured to cover a range of parts from 400 dia. up to 1600 dia.

It can produce spun parts in a range of materials including stainless steel / mild steel and aluminium.

We also, feel it was essential that we had this custom made, to guarantee a diverse range of parts can be produced and meet our existing and future customer requirements.

What this CNC metal spinning machine means for your business?

The RBV-160 enables us to produce high and low volume production runs with a superior finish and dimensional repeatability.

What makes this machine so special is the forming of both flanges simultaneously from a single band of rolled metal sheet.

This takes the intense labour costs of manufacturing this parts using traditional methods and allows for high volume parts to be manufactured in a short timescale.

Having new addition allows Artec Engineering to move into the 21st century and will give us a competitive edge to bring manufacturing back to the UK from China and the Far East.

What happens next?

If you have a fan casing enquiry or a general metal spinning enquiry, please get in touch today or come and visit us today to see our expert craftsman in action.

We strongly value building relationships with our customers and this begins by coming to see us and discussing our capabilities.
