Artec Engineering Precision Metal Spinners has over 60 years experience in supplying a range of spun and manufactured parts to the automotive industry.

We work with some of the classic car industry leaders to produce parts ranging from replacement headlights , fuel tanks and bespoke parts.

Often replacement parts for classic cars are expensive, hard to find or in some cases no longer exist.

This is where having 60 years in the metal spinning and engineering industry has enabled Artec to become a leader in supplying parts, which are as good if not better than the original.

How we produce classic car parts can vary.

Sometimes our customer will have a drawing of the part they required manufacturing, whilst other times we will receive an original part that we can take measurements from to produce a replica part.

Vacuum Chamber

We recently produced a pair of spinning’s that formed a vacuum chamber

These were made in 1.2mm mild steel.

This particular part went through various production processes such as pressing, spinning and machining.

Rolls Royce Hub Cap

There are instances that replacement car parts are so expensive that the most viable option is to have tooling made and having several parts produced.

The hub cap was spun in aluminium and was given a polished finish.

Spun Wheel Hub

This was a pair of spinning’s that were made in mild steel and was produced with a 56mm ctr. hole and 4 x 12mm holes, so this could locate onto the vehicle axle.

After the parts were completed, they were given a iridescent finish.

9″Bezel Clamp

One of our customers had an original 9″ bezel clamp that they wanted manufactured in brass for a headlight on a classic car that was being refurbished.

There were no drawings, so we took measurements of the sample part and used these as a reference point to produce the tooling.

This part was spun from a rolled band and cut to the required dimensions.
